| Clifford G. Dusang 120th Regiment 30th Infantry Division |
| email from nephew 04/08/2002 My Uncle was CLIFFORD G DUSANG and was a Sergeant in the US Army 120th Infantry 30th Infantry Division. He was from Louisiana. He was serving in Belgium, and was killed on 15TH JANUARY 1944. He was married to VIOLET CUTTING while in Winchcombe, Gloucestershire during his training for D-Day. He had two sons PAUL and VINCENT. We know that he was injured in heavy fighting, and died of his wounds. He is buried at the HENRI-CHAPELLE CEMETERY PLOT F 7 GRAVE 67in Belgium. My Mother was Violets Sister, and we would really like to know more about the action resulting in his death. He was awarded the Purple Heart, and my Aunty could never bring herself to find out more about how he had fought and died for America. |
