I receive the "Old Hickory" since my Dad died in 1999.  He was a member of the 120th Infantry, Company C, and Third Platoon.  When I read that you were looking for additional names for your work, I recalled seeing a list that my Dad had compiled prior to his discharge from the Army. I retrieved the list yesterday and have typed the information into a format that I can send to you.

He was the proudest man I know.  His time in the Army was so important to him.  He earned the Silver Star on January 14, 1945 but did not speak of it until near the time of his death.  He remains my hero.

I have attached the list of the Third Platoon.  He remained in contact with several of the men up to his death.  I called them at that time and received such warm and wonderful support from these aging men who had shared the best and worst times of their life together.
