The Bergen-Belsen / Farsleben Train Route
Many reports have been made by the Holocaust Survivors, of the Bergen-Belsen / Farsleben train, about the frequent “stop and go” sessions that were endured during this 6 day journey to Farsleben.
The accompanying map shows the route taken by this train, as indicated by the black line. The red and blues lines indicate the routes taken by the two other trains dispatched in this same time period, to their planned destination for their “Final Solution”.
The Bergen-Belsen / Farsleben train was originally destined for Theresienstadt, for the “Final Solution” of its occupants, via the gas chambers.
Fortunately, they were intercepted and Liberated before this cruel deed could be implemented.
