this was Building 111. November 1998

This was the maintenance shop during WW2. It contained the carpenter shop, propeller shop, battery shop, machine shop, the maintenance control section. the tin shop, and a forge and welding shop. Nov. 1998.

Chapel.
Now preserved as the Jeanne Lewellen Norbeck Chapel. 
She was a Ferry Pilot during WW2

Control Tower. 
The original was constructed of wood. 
This all steel tower was probably built during the 1950's.

Sanitary Latrine. 
Gone in 2007, replaced by a new Columbus/Airport Fire Station.

built in the 1950's to protect the hangar pictured below.

Hangar - built in the 1950's for the C-119's. 
Now owned by Cummins Engine Company.
