The records on these films are the Master Aircraft Records and/or Individual Aircraft Record Cards for aircraft retired from the USAAC/USAAF/USAF inventory through May 1951. The records cover the inventory history of the aircraft from its acceptance through its removal from the USAF inventory. The records were originally filmed simultaneously by different cameras, resulting in three separate groups of films with overlapping roll numbers from the original filming; these numbers are listed in the "Notes" column.
