Thank you for the pics--my Dad (F/O Winfred E. Patterson) and Jack
Streeter flew almost all of the test flights at Clinton County AAF
in the XCG-14. They were initially towed by a P-47!! This info is in
the Silent Wings book by Charles Day. My Dad said the
glider didn't handle all that well. My Dad also did all the initial
flight testing on the XCG-15.
