Origin of the AT-10 Listing Project

The AT-10 listing project came about as a result of Mr. Ted Damick, of Allegan, MI,
contacting our museum, in April of 2023, about making a visit. Mr. Damick is very
interested in WWII aviation history, and he enjoys doing research projects that help
museums tell the story of the US Army Air Corps in that period.

During his visit on July 7th , 2023, Mr. Damick noted all the artifacts we have,
including some AT-10 parts. He proposed that he could research the Individual
Aircraft Record cards (archived on microfilm) that tell the history of each airplane,
from initial delivery to final disposition. He began his research shortly after returning
home from visiting our museum. On August 1st he sent along the 292-line, 9-page,
spreadsheet containing detailed information about each airplane. He also included a
2-page explanatory document, giving his research methodology and defining the
column headings in the spreadsheet.

The museum is most appreciative of Mr. Damick’s work, and the end result of having
this information readily available to future museum visitors.
