George E. Krimm and several of the other hospital
surgery persons. My parents met there. They were married there on base at one of the chapels on base. My father was a surgical orderly/assistant and my Mom a secretary for one of the surgeons. She may well have worked for Col. Blocker. The Col. and my parents had contact over the years as the Col. followed many of the soldiers who had their faces and limbs rebuilt in what was the early days of plastic and reconstructive surgery. He came to the house in Ohio on several occasions before his passing in the 80's.

My mother worked there as a civilian employee, her father Clarence Ferguson was the Edinburgh Town Marshall and later Police Chief from the times before the Army base until the late 1960's and lived along the blue river just up river from the dam. My mothers family were the ninth settlers in what was then the Northwest territories.
