German V2 Rocket

The above V2 rocket, German Serial Number SI 79-13474 (next 5 photos) once on display at Freeman Field is now (2023)
being restored at the Smithsonian, National Air & Space.
The body of the above rocket is empty with no controls or motor.

It is believed the V2 in the above photo is hollow and does not have any motor or controls inside.  The serial number is supposedly SI 79-13474.  (10/22/2022) This information is from the Smithsonian, but their replies and information are rather confusing as they reference photos not shown. Repeatedly requests for Freeman Field to be included as cc:s to relevant emails are quickly forgotten.
